Yeah now I am having a hard time deciding on which Kirsten to keep! LOL
I may have to keep them both! I had always wanted a mint condition white bodied doll and the only problem I had with her is they stated she came with original braids, etc but there were no rubber bands and I had to partially re-do them! I sort of like my tan bodied Kirstens face better, but the white bodied one is so rare! They can be sisters! I think Ill keep ones hair down and one in the loops! wrx-gal - perhaps she did not have rubber bands because of age. My circa 1989 kirsten's rubber bands have completely disolved. Her hair is still exactly in place though.

Yeah, the ends however, looked uneven. It was hard to get them back into the loops because there was too much extra hair at the ends that were too hard to braid...
Oh well... I guess I cant complain! Her body is in perfect condition!

My Kirsten is not a white body, but is from before they made Felicity (I must have got her right when they switched... I don't know why she isn't a white body). Her hair isn't even either. It might be a sign of the times.

Kirsten's hair is not even because it is made to be braided. You can see tons of pictures of my beautiful white bodied Kirsten in my dolls album. She's well-loved but she was my first AG and very special. [img]graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Another thing to ad, their rear ends are a bit bigger than the later pre-Mattel girls. Kirsten sometimes has a hard time fitting into her skirts
